Sea-Changers have recruited two new Trustees to their Board. Micah Douglas and Chris Mills joined the team in May. These two appointments will strengthen the Board in areas of branding and partnerships and financial management and planning respectively.

Micah Douglas

Micah Douglas has been a friend of Sea-Changers for some time sharing our work with others and championing our grant programmes. He is currently Brand Manager at OceanSaver, a company on a mission to save Ocean Life from plastic pollution. Growing up with limited access to nature, he’s passionate about making the outdoors more accessible, and believes in the power of storytelling to inspire environmental action. He has previously contributed to mission-led brands Tony’s Chocolonely and Mr Lee’s Noodles. Micah is also a public speaker, sharing stories of sustainability and brand activism. Outside of work, Micah is a keen gardener and community volunteer, expressing his deep love for nature and the Ocean in everyday life.

A former economist and financial analyst, he has a keen interest in climate activism and environmentalism. He is passionate about using the skills he acquired in his professional career to help Sea-Changers reach the next level of impact in marine conservation. He is also Treasurer and Founding Trustee for the Movements Trust.

We look forward to working with Micah and Chris - great to have you both on the Team.
