At Sea-Changers we are thrilled to kick off 2026 by welcoming two new Trustees to our Board.  Chloe Harvey and Emma Armshaw both joined the Board at the end of December 2025. These two appointments will further strengthen the Board in areas of marine conservation and marine policy.  So, let's introduce you!

Emma Armshaw

Emma has been volunteering for Sea-Changers in various capacities since 2021 and is delighted to now join the Board. She is the Marine & Coastal Policy Officer for the Sustainable Water Network, an umbrella organisation of environmental NGOs focused on water quality. Through this, she is also part of Fair Seas, the Irish Sea Network and Seas at Risk, and sits on the Irish Government's Marine Spatial Planning Advisory Group and Marine Strategy Framework Directive Technical Working Groups. She comes to the world of marine conservation after a career in politics, having previously worked in the UK Parliament managing international democracy-strengthening projects. She holds an MSc in Global Governance & Public Policy from Birkbeck College, University of London and an MSc in Marine Biology from University College Cork. Emma has been an avid SCUBA diver since 2002 and enjoys travelling anywhere she can blow bubbles.

Chloe Harvey

Chloe is excited to join the board of Trustees and share her experience in marine science and conservation, as well as small charity management and strategic planning. Chloe has two decades of experience in small marine conservation charity management, successfully leading organisations through times of transition with a focus on scaling and resilience building. Chloe is currently the Executive Director of The Reef-World Foundation, a UK Charity working internationally to protect and conserve coral reefs. She's been a passionate scuba diver for more than 30 years and holds a BSc in Marine Biology - the ocean is where her heart is and she's committed to protecting it. Sea-Changers grabbed Chloe's attention because of their approach in delivering vital funds to extraordinary people working hard every day to protect our marine world. She's really looking forward to standing beside the Sea-Changers' team and network to protect our incredible marine life.

We look forward to working with Emma and Chloe on our Board – fantastic to have you both on the team!
