Sea-Changers joins the Our Seas Coalition
Sea-Changers is proud to have been accepted as a member of the 'Our Seas Coalition'. The Coalition is an alliance of Scottish organisations, businesses, communities and individuals that support a move to sustainable use of Scottish coastal seas. The Our Seas Coalition is campaigning for greater protection of Scotland’s seas to recover nature and sustainable livelihoods. Specifically they are calling for a minimum of 30% of Scotland's inshore waters to beprotected from bot


Chloe and Emma join the Sea-Changers Board
At Sea-Changers we are thrilled to kick off 2026 by welcoming two new Trustees to our Board. Chloe Harvey and Emma Armshaw both joined the Board at the end of December 2025. These two appointments will further strengthen the Board in areas of marine conservation and marine policy. So, let's introduce you! Emma Armshaw Emma has been volunteering for Sea-Changers in various capacities since 2021 and is delighted to now join the Board. She is the Marine & Coastal Policy Office


Our First Ever 'Step Up Fund' Recipients Announced
We created our new Step Up Fund to back projects that have already proven their value for UK seas and communities, but now need a bigger boost to reach their full potential. Over the years we have supported more than 500 marine conservation projects. Our grants of up to £2,500 th rough our Main Grants fund have often been truly transformational. We were, for example, one of t he very first funders of Project Seagrass back in 2014, before they were even a registered charity.
