Jola donates quirky art to raise funds

We are really lucky to be supported by some very talented artists who sell or use their work to raise money for us. Ceramicist, Jola Spytkowska has donated some of her wonderful quirky ceramic figures for us to sell and they are available now on eBay. They would make a lovely Christmas gift or a fun addition to your mantle piece.

Jola first studied for a Diploma in Ceramics at Braintree College which then attended Goldsmiths College London where she gained a Post Graduate degree. She is a designer and maker of figures and beasts by slab building. Her work is usually sold her work through galleries, exhibitions and craft fairs. Jola’s work is figurative. She looks for human and animal personalities in the everyday objects around her.

Jola has generously donated all pieces as a ‘second’ it is not a piece she would sell commercially because of a small flaw or imperfection in the eye of the artist – although it is not obvious to us! Instead, she has donated pieces to generate funds for marine conservation. We would like to say a huge thank you to Jola and to everyone else – it’s time to get bidding!
