Ian's sea-changing weekend

Ian Hay went above and beyond for the marine environment in one exhausting weekend in September. On the Saturday he took part in the Clova Extreme Duathlon undertaking a 27km bike ride and a 14km mountain walk and used the challenge to raise money for Sea-Changers. He completed the Duathlon in an amazing 4 hours and 29 minutes.

After the challenge Ian tweeted "Exhausted but happy. No rest for the wicked. Tomorrow I will be doing a beach clean with co op in Aberdeen. ⁦"

And so the following day he joined 75 other volunteers and took part in the Bridge of Don Beach clean. They did a great job of removing a huge amount of plastic.

Sea-Changers want to say a huge well done to Ian on his fantastic achievements and thank him for the wonderful amount of money he has raised for us. You can donate to Ian's fundraising page here.
