Nine new water bottle refill stations on their way in 2024
Thanks to the continued support of our sponsor Bunzl PLC, the Coastal Water Fountain Fund is now in its fifth year of operation. The demand for water bottle refill stations in coastal locations was still very much in evidence and the Sea-Changers Team had some difficult decisions to make.
The chosen 2024 locations add to our existing network of thirty fountains. The new ones to be installed are:
Pendine Sands, South Wales
Pembrey Country Park, South Wales
Ha'penny Pier, Harwich
Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire
Woolacombe, Devon
Harbour Parade, Ramsgate
Majuba Beach, Redcar
Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, South Shields
Thanckes Park, Torpoint

We can't wait to see them in place and being used to prevent plastic pollution around our coasts.
