It also details some ways in which you can become involved in our work around marine conservation.  It would be great to hear your comments and feedback on this and look out for future blogs on how you can become involved in the work we are doing.

Helen Completes Swim

On the 10th of July Helen Ketcher completed a sponsored swim to raise funds for Sea-Changers. She took part in the ‘Swim for All’ event in Wakefield.

Helen said: “I really enjoyed the swim, it was refreshing, the water didn't taste too bad and the other swimmers were really friendly - I was thinking about the dolphins I’d seen in the channel as I swam - they were a brilliant breath-taking surprise, just off Guernsey and something I will remember for ever - let's hope Sea-Changers can help make sure they are around for ever!”

Helen added, “Maybe next year we can have a Team Sea-Changers?”

Helen’s swim raised over £200 for Sea-Changers. A big thank you from the all the Sea-Changers team for all your hard work Helen

Helen Swims for the Sea

Sea-Changers supporter, Helen Ketcher is taking to the water to raise money for Sea-Changers. On Sunday 10th July, at Pugney's Country Park in Wakefield, Helen is taking part in the 'Swim for All' event. Helen will be required to swim 500 metres (about 20 lengths of your average pool, but no stopping!) along with up to 1,000 people who will all be raising money for different charities. We’re delighted that Helen chose to support Sea-Changers.
