NMG have received three grants from Sea-Changers. The first, in 2013, enabled NMG to properly establish and consolidate their local volunteer marine conservation group. In 2014, our funding enabled the group to engage the local community with marine issues through a programme of free public events and in 2015, we funded NMG to develop and deliver a pilot project to work within public outreach and business to business relationships.

With the help of our funding, Project Seagrasss ran a seagrass survey and education workshop in North Wales, with local community members and Swansea University Marine Biology Society.

We funded two RSPB projects in 2013.  In Wester Ross and Sutherland, NW Scotland, the RSPB delivered two days of informative, fun activities for children.  In Ayrshire, we contributed to the funding of a clean-up of Bogside estuary SSSI and the running of two educational wildlife workshops.
