In 2012 we contributed to funding two days of informative, fun activities for children on the Isle of Skye, run by the RSPB.

We funded similar workshops in 2013 in Wester Ross and Sutherland, NW Scotland.  In 2013, we also contributed to the funding of a clean-up of Bogside estuary SSSI in Ayrshire and the running of two educational wildlife workshops.  

In 2016, we funded the Little Tern project at Chesil Beach - specifically the erection of a fence that prevents fox access to breeding areas of the beach.

We have funded four Sea Watch Foundation projects:

  • In 2012 we funded a photo-identification survey of Bottlenose Dolphins in Liverpool Bay.
  • In 2013 our grant was used to finance a survey to assess cetacean abundance and distribution along the North East Wales coast.
  • In 2015 Sea-Changers' funding paid for two surveys to train Welsh Sea Watcher volunteers along the South and West Wales coasts.
  • In 2017 our funding will enable Sea Watch to significantly improve data collection on bottlenose dolphin abundance in southern Cardigan Bay.
